Al-Hamad: Pleased with Salisbury's presence in the country to face Qadsia

Salzburg FC owner Ali Al-Hamad expressed his delight at being in the country and facing Al-Qadsiya in a friendly match scheduled for today, Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m. at the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium. At a press conference held ahead of the match, Al-Hamad said, “I extend my sincere thanks to Al-Qadsiya Club, the Kuwait Football Association, and the General Authority for Youth and Sports for their efforts and extensive facilitation in hosting Salzburg’s training camp in the country.”

Al-Hamad noted that Salzburg’s objective is to build bridges of communication with all countries, starting with Kuwait, in order to promote the club’s name. He added that Kuwaiti player Ahmed Al-Jarawi will feature for Salzburg against Al-Qadsiya today after undergoing trials with the club last May, while other players, Rawdan Al-Armeli and Ghanem Al-Othman, will be unable to participate due to injuries.

Al-Hamad clarified that the clash with Al-Qadsiya will serve as an important test to gauge Salzburg’s strength, given that Al-Qadsiya, known as “The Yellow,” is a historic club with a trophy-laden record. Salzburg manager Brian Dalton and player Luke Ross also expressed their happiness at the warm reception and their presence in the country.
