The unified government electronic services application, “Sahl,” has launched a new feature called “Baligh,” in a move aimed at expanding direct communication channels between citizens, residents, and government entities regarding services and facilities linked to their daily lives, and reinforcing the concept of public participation in improving service quality and addressing feedback more swiftly and efficiently.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday, the Executive Committee of the “Sahl” and “Sahl Business” applications said that the “Baligh” feature enables citizens and residents to submit reports and feedback directly to the relevant government entity and track the status of their reports electronically through the application, thereby streamlining procedures, accelerating the delivery of reports to the concerned authorities, and enhancing the efficiency of response and follow-up.
The committee added that, in its current phase, the “Baligh” feature includes the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Public Authority for Communications and Information Technology, the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, the Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha), the Capital Markets Authority, and the Kuwait Municipality.
It noted that additional government entities are expected to join the “Baligh” feature in the coming phases, thereby broadening the scope of available reports and strengthening the role of “Sahl” as a unified government platform for communication, service delivery, and follow-up.
The committee emphasized that the launch of the feature is part of the continuous development of the “Sahl” application and the expansion of integration among government entities, providing users with a single unified government portal that consolidates services, communication, and follow-up in one place.
