First Deputy PM: Strengthening the Role of the 'Labor Force' in Regulating the Labor Market

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, emphasized the importance of strengthening the principles of governance and transparency in administrative and financial work, and continuing to develop work mechanisms that contribute to achieving the Authority’s strategic objectives and enhancing its role in regulating the labor market and protecting the rights of its stakeholders.

According to a statement from the Public Authority for Manpower, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, while chairing the Authority’s Board of Directors meeting today, Wednesday, with board members in attendance, stressed the importance of continuing to implement the manpower sector’s development plans and programs, and upgrading the level of services provided to citizens, employers, and workers, in line with the state’s direction toward developing government work and enhancing performance efficiency.

The meeting discussed several agenda items and reviewed recent developments and the Authority’s plans aimed at improving institutional performance and enhancing the efficiency of the work system, thereby supporting efforts to regulate the labor market in the State of Kuwait.
