Direct Investment Promotion Authority signs MoU with Swiss Global Foundation

In the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and President Guy Parmelin, President of the friendly Swiss Confederation, a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding on “promoting direct investment” was held at the Bellevue Palace in the Swiss capital, Bern. The agreement was signed between the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and the Swiss Global Enterprise (SGE), as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and expand the horizons of joint cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Swiss Confederation.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Kuwaiti side by Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, and on behalf of the Swiss side by Magali Herro, Chief Executive Officer for Investment Promotion and a member of the Executive Board of Swiss Global Enterprise, in the presence of senior officials from both sides.
This memorandum reflects the commitment of the State of Kuwait and the Swiss Confederation to develop frameworks for economic and investment cooperation, enhance partnership in areas of mutual interest, support direct investment opportunities, achieve mutual benefits, and consolidate the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
In honor of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and the official delegation accompanying him, President Guy Parmelin, President of the friendly Swiss Confederation, hosted a luncheon at the Bellevue Palace in Bern, the Swiss capital, on the occasion of His Highness’s official visit to the Swiss Confederation.
