National Bank Sponsors Opening of 'Al-Sour Theater' with National Performance Embodying Loyalty Values
Under the patronage of His Highness Prince Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Salim Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, “Al-Sour Theater” is inaugurated today, Wednesday, September 30, as Kuwait’s largest theater in the third phase of the Martyr’s Park. The event is sponsored by National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) and features a national celebration embodying the values of loyalty and gratitude to the nation’s heroes.
The opening ceremony will feature the grand national theatrical production “Al-Sour,” honoring members of the Armed Forces, security agencies, and frontline personnel, and recognizing their sacrifices and efforts in safeguarding Kuwait’s security and stability.
NBK’s support for this national event stems from its role as an active partner of the state in major national occasions and milestones, and its commitment to backing initiatives that celebrate Kuwait’s history and national heritage, and honor its sons who contributed to protecting the country and advancing its development. The opening ceremony will feature the national artistic production “Al-Sour,” which draws its narrative from the historical epic of building Kuwait’s wall. This large-scale theatrical work draws on enduring national values that have shaped the Kuwaiti collective consciousness across generations, foremost among them the unity between the leadership and the people, the spirit of mutual aid, solidarity, belonging, and loyalty to the nation.
