Saudi Crown Prince and UAE Vice President Discuss Regional Developments

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman met in Riyadh yesterday with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President of the United Arab Emirates, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Sheikh Mansour conveyed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to his brother, the Crown Prince, while bearing greetings from the Crown Prince to the UAE President. During the meeting, the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and developments in the region were reviewed. Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz attended the meeting.

For her part, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) stated that the two sides discussed fraternal relations, in addition to regional developments. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan had previously discussed with Prince Khalid bin Salman the fraternal relations and ways to enhance them across various fields, serving the common interests of the two countries and bringing benefits to their brotherly peoples. WAM noted that Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan arrived in Riyadh on a fraternal visit, where he was welcomed at King Khalid International Airport by Prince Khalid bin Salman. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan departed the Kingdom at the conclusion of his fraternal visit yesterday, with the Defense Minister and several officials seeing him off.

On another note, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call from Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan. SPA reported that the Saudi Crown Prince emphasized during the call the Kingdom’s commitment to Sudan’s stability and the preservation of its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, as well as its support for all efforts aimed at achieving stability in the country, paving the way for comprehensive development in Sudan and the return of displaced persons and refugees to their homes.
