Crown Prince and Swiss President Discuss Common Issues and Latest Developments in Regional and International Arenas

An official round of talks between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Swiss Confederation was held in the Swiss capital, Bern. His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, chaired the Kuwaiti delegation, while the President of the Swiss Confederation, Guy Parmelin, chaired the Swiss side.

At the outset of the talks, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to President Guy Parmelin, extending best wishes for his good health and well-being, as well as for the friendly Swiss Confederation and its people, for continued progress and prosperity.

During the discussions, the bilateral relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples were reviewed, along with ways to support and develop these ties across all fields and to broaden the frameworks of cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Swiss Confederation to serve their shared interests. The talks also addressed key issues of mutual interest and the latest developments on the regional and international scenes, with an exchange of views on these matters.
