Commercial Bank Launches 'World Elite Mastercard'

Kuwait Finance House (KFH), in collaboration with Mastercard, the global leader in payment technology, has announced the launch of the new World Elite Mastercard credit card. The launch of this card aims to meet the evolving needs of a growing segment of customers who value exceptional experiences, exclusive access, and carefully tailored personal services.

Commenting on the occasion, Abdulaziz Al-Zu’abi, General Manager of Retail Banking at Kuwait Finance House, stated that the launch of the World Elite Mastercard reaffirms the bank’s established strategy of focusing on its premium customer segment, offering banking products that go beyond traditional payment tools and reinforce a lifestyle of luxury and comfort. The World Elite Mastercard offers cardholders a comprehensive package of distinctive travel, dining, and entertainment benefits within The Mastercard Collection. These benefits include a 24/7 personal concierge service, discounts at a selection of luxury hotels, car rental companies, restaurants, retailers, and entertainment experiences at premier global destinations. Travelers can also enjoy free access to more than 1,500 airport lounges worldwide, as well as over 200 expedited airport check-in lanes in more than 30 countries through the Mastercard Travel Pass app, in addition to comprehensive travel insurance and emergency medical coverage while traveling.

Kuwait Finance House provides World Elite Mastercard holders with complimentary valet parking at selected shopping malls, clinics, and hospitals across Kuwait.

Furthermore, KFH offers World Elite Mastercard holders the highest points-earning rate within the Al-Tijari Rewards program compared to other credit cards issued by the bank. The program allows cardholders to earn up to six points for every Kuwaiti Dinar spent, depending on the location and method of purchase. Specifically, cardholders earn five points on local purchases made via point-of-sale (POS) terminals or online stores, five points on POS purchases within the European Union, six points on online purchases from companies and retailers based in the European Union, and six points on international purchases worldwide, whether via POS terminals or online stores.
