AbdulKarim Al-Abdullah: The Ministry of Health has closed the registration window for medical and technical personnel wishing to join the medical services team of the Kuwaiti Hajj Mission for the 1448 AH Hajj season, following the expiration of the designated period for receiving applicants’ requests.
Al-Anbaa learned from health sources that the relevant departments within the Ministry have begun reviewing and verifying applicants’ requests to ensure they meet the conditions and controls specified by the Ministry for each required category, paving the way for finalizing the approved list and announcing the names of successful candidates shortly.
Sources indicated that the selection process will be conducted in accordance with the previously announced conditions, which include general requirements as well as specific stipulations related to qualifications, practical experience, and specializations required for doctors, nursing staff, emergency medical technicians, and pharmacists.
The Ministry of Health had previously specified among the general conditions that applicants must possess adequate physical and health fitness to perform their duties throughout the mission period, and must be Kuwaiti nationals. Priority was given to personnel who have not previously participated in Kuwaiti medical Hajj missions, in order to reinforce the principle of equal opportunity and broaden the base of participation.
