Foreign Minister discusses regional and international developments with counterparts in Tunisia and Djibouti

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber met with Abdulkader Omar, Djibouti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and official government spokesperson, at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussing the latest developments in regional and international affairs.

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber also met with Mohamed Ali Al-Nafati, Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussing the latest developments in regional and international affairs.

Additionally, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber received Carl Skau, Acting Executive Director of the World Food Programme. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the meeting reviewed the close relationship between the State of Kuwait and the World Food Programme, joint humanitarian efforts, and ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination to support effective responses to regional and international humanitarian crises and challenges.
