The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources announced that the Information Systems Center has completed the implementation of an electronic correspondence system for all of the Authority’s communications, a step aimed at developing the institutional work environment and enhancing digital transformation and administrative governance.

In a press statement, the Authority said the system enables the electronic management and circulation of correspondence among its various sectors and departments, contributing to accelerating the workflow, improving efficiency, enhancing the accuracy of transaction documentation, enabling tracking, and reducing reliance on paper-based communications.

It clarified that this step comes under the guidance and support of the Minister of State for Development and Sustainability, Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, to accelerate digital transformation in entities under her supervision and to develop procedures in line with the principles of governance, transparency, and efficiency, thereby raising the quality of institutional performance and strengthening oversight and accountability.

The Authority emphasized that the completion of electronic correspondence represents one of the stages of a comprehensive plan to update digital systems and services within the Authority, noting that work continues to develop and integrate systems to simplify procedures, reduce documentation cycles, and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

The Authority commended the efforts of the Information Systems Center and all sectors and departments that contributed to the project’s completion, reaffirming its continued implementation of digital transformation initiatives in alignment with the state’s direction toward a more efficient and sustainable government.
