Crown Prince arrives in Switzerland for an official visit

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and the official delegation accompanying him arrived at Zurich International Airport yesterday morning, in connection with his official visit to Bern, the capital of the friendly Swiss Confederation.

Greeting His Highness upon arrival at the airport were our Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, Youssef Abdul-Samad; Ambassador Najib Al-Badr, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs; our Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, Ambassador Nasser Al-Hin; and members of the diplomatic mission.

Meanwhile, the representative of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and the accompanying official delegation departed New York City in the friendly United States of America, following His Highness’s chairmanship of the State of Kuwait delegation participating in the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Escorting His Highness at the airport were Sheikhah Al-Zain Al-Sabah, our Ambassador to the United States of America, and Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

In a separate development, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, sent a congratulatory message to President Serdar Berdimuhamedow of the friendly Republic of Turkmenistan, conveying his sincere congratulations on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day, and wishing him continued health and well-being.
