Lopetegui: We must give our best

Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui, manager of the Qatar national team, emphasized the importance of the match against Yemen in the second round of the Gulf Arab Cup (Khaleeji 27), noting that the tight schedule between matches does not allow his team sufficient rest time, and that he will rely on the best available players.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference yesterday, Lopetegui said: "We do not have enough time to rest, and we will play today with our best fit players. I believe the match is important for us, and we will face an opponent for whom the match is also important, so we must focus on ourselves."

The Qatar coach stressed his respect for the Yemeni national team and his disregard for their loss in the first round, stating: "Certainly, the match is important to us, and the Yemeni team has strong players. We are not focusing on their loss in the first match against the UAE national team. We respect them, and as I said, they are a strong team, and we must give our best."

For his part, Sultan Al-Briq, a player for the Qatar national team, confirmed his team's readiness for the encounter during the press conference, noting that the goal is to continue winning.

Al-Briq said: "We are ready for today's match, and God willing, we will achieve victory. There are no easy matches, and we are prepared for the game." He added: "The Yemeni team is looking for their last hope of winning, but our goal is to secure the victory."
