Four fire stations extinguish two fires in Al-Wafra and Kuwait City Square

The General Fireforce announced that fire crews successfully extinguished an apartment fire in the Maidan Al-Kuwait area. In a press statement, the force clarified that crews from the Al-Kuwait Central and Salimiyah fire stations gained control on Saturday afternoon of an apartment blaze on the fifth floor of a building in the Maidan Al-Kuwait district. It added that the building was evacuated, the fire was fought and brought under control, and the incident resulted in no significant injuries.

The force noted that the site was handed over to the relevant authorities. Meanwhile, the General Fireforce stated that fire crews also managed to extinguish a fire in a warehouse in Al-Wafra. It explained that crews from the Al-Wafra Central and Al-Nuwaybib fire stations gained control on Friday of a warehouse fire in a chalet in the Al-Wafra agricultural area, where the fire was fought and controlled without any significant injuries.
