Foreign Minister Discusses Joint Humanitarian Efforts with Acting Executive Director of the World Food Programme

Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber met with Carl Skau, Acting Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the close relationship between the State of Kuwait and the WFP was reviewed, along with their joint efforts in the humanitarian field. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination to support effective responses to crises and humanitarian challenges at both the regional and international levels.
