Civil Defense: Fire in an apartment in a building in Hawalli Square brought under control

The General Fire Force announced that firefighting teams successfully extinguished an apartment fire in the Madayan Al-Kuwait area.

In a press statement, the Force clarified that teams from the Central Al-Kuwait and Salima fire stations gained control of the blaze on Saturday afternoon. The fire broke out in an apartment on the fifth floor of a building in the Madayan Al-Kuwait district.

It added that the building was evacuated, the fire was fought and brought under control, and the incident resulted in no significant injuries.

The Force noted that the site was handed over to the relevant authorities.
