Ministry of Interior warns citizens and residents to exercise caution regarding stray dogs

The Ministry of Interior has urged citizens and residents to exercise caution and vigilance when encountering stray dogs, advising them not to approach or provoke the animals. It also emphasized the need to monitor children and ensure the safety of the elderly, in order to prevent the dogs from gathering near residential areas and public facilities.

In a press statement, the ministry stressed the importance of reporting the locations where stray dogs are present or congregating by calling the emergency number (112), providing precise location details, so that appropriate measures can be taken in coordination with the relevant authorities and handled safely.

The Ministry of Interior called on everyone to cooperate and adhere to preventive guidelines, and to report any gatherings of stray dogs, thereby contributing to the enhancement of public safety and the protection of lives.
