Kuwait participates in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and India

Hamad Al-Mari, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Affairs, participated in the joint ministerial meeting between the GCC and the Republic of India, held on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and follow up on the items of the joint action plan between the two sides, as well as continuing preparations for holding the first round of negotiations on a free trade agreement between the GCC and India.

The two sides also examined regional and international situations and issues, exchanging views on them.
