Furthermore, the Crown Prince, represented by His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received Mark Rutte, Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and the accompanying delegation. The meeting reviewed the frameworks of distinguished partnership and cooperation between Kuwait and NATO within the framework of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative, and followed up on training and technical cooperation programs through the NATO Regional Cooperation Centre in Kuwait.
