UAE defeats Yemen 4-0 in Gulf Cup 27

The UAE national team secured a commanding 4-0 victory over Yemen in a match played on Thursday as part of Group B of the Gulf Cup, hosted by the Saudi city of Jeddah.

The UAE team dominated the match from the outset, maintaining possession and repeatedly threatening the Yemeni goal before converting their superiority into goals.

The "White Falcons" ended the first half with a clean-sheet lead of three goals. Nicolás Giménez opened the scoring in the 26th minute, Nader Sahl scored an own goal in the 36th minute, and Luán Pereira added the third goal in the 45+4th minute.

In the second half, the UAE continued their scoring, with Nicolás Giménez netting his second goal of the match and the team's fourth in the 51st minute.

The UAE maintained their dominance until the final whistle, securing a clean-sheet win with four goals and achieving a well-deserved victory to open their campaign in the Gulf Cup group stage.

With this emphatic win, the UAE team, under the guidance of Croatian coach Zlatko Dalić, collected their first three points to temporarily top Group B, pending the result of the other match in the group between Qatar and Bahrain. Yemen remains without points.
