Applied Sciences University and Human Development Agency Explore Cooperation in Community Development

The General Authority for Applied Education and Training (GAAET) and the Human Building Association for Social Development discussed enhancing cooperation in community development, human empowerment, and partnership in developmental and social fields.

Dr. Hassan Al-Fajam, Director General of the General Authority for Applied Education and Training, affirmed during the meeting between the two parties the Authority’s commitment to strengthening its community role, in line with its educational and training mission.

Dr. Al-Fajam highlighted the importance of building effective partnerships with civil society institutions and exchanging expertise to support human and community development and implement quality initiatives that serve society. He also discussed with the Association’s delegation the possibility of collaborating on initiatives and programs aimed at human development, youth empowerment, enhancing skills and capabilities, and promoting a culture of corporate social responsibility and volunteerism, while leveraging the Authority’s academic and training expertise and resources to support initiatives with significant community impact.

For his part, Khalifa Al-Ghanim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Human Building Association, praised the role played by the General Authority for Applied Education and Training in education, training, and community service.

Al-Ghanim expressed the Association’s desire to strengthen cooperation and open new horizons for partnership in areas of mutual interest.
