Minister of Development and Sustainability discusses land reclamation and smart agriculture cooperation with South Korean Ambassador

State Minister for Development and Sustainability, Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the State of Kuwait, Jang Hyun Kim, to discuss avenues of cooperation between the two friendly countries in the fields of sustainability and enhancing food security.

The Ministry of Development and Sustainability stated in a statement to KUNA that Dr. Al-Faleh received Ambassador Kim at the headquarters of the Public Authority for Environment. The meeting also explored ways to cooperate in land reclamation and smart agriculture, as well as the potential to leverage Korean technologies and expertise in fish farming.

The ministry noted that the meeting comes within the framework of the commitment to strengthening cooperation between Kuwait and the Republic of Korea and developing areas of shared partnership that serve the interests of the two friendly countries.
