Kuwait condemns Houthi militia's ballistic missile launches toward Taif and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia’s launch of ballistic missiles toward the cities of Taif and Yanbu in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It affirmed its categorical rejection of the recurrence of these shameful hostile aggressions, which constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.

The Ministry reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its standing alongside it, and its support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the protection of its citizens and residents. It emphasized that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Kuwait’s security and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
