Information and Oil Ministries Discuss Enhancing Cooperation

Turki Al-Mutairi, Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television Affairs at the Ministry of Information, stated that the ministry is committed to enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise with government entities, while leveraging the capabilities of specialized national professionals.

In a statement to KUNA following his meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of Oil, Al-Mutairi emphasized that collaboration with government bodies contributes to advancing media operations and keeping pace with the rapid developments in production, broadcasting, and content creation technologies.

He highlighted the importance of sharing expertise and practical experiences, as well as exchanging knowledge among government institutions, to support the development of media and artistic competencies and to expand areas of cooperation in the production and presentation of media content using modern professional and technical methods.

He also pointed to the significance of mutual visits in strengthening communication and cooperation among government entities and in exchanging expertise and experiences in media and artistic fields.

For her part, Sheikha Tamadur Al-Khalid, Director of the Public Relations and Petroleum Media Department at the Ministry of Oil, stated in the statement that this meeting represents an important opportunity to gain a close-up view of the Ministry of Information’s experience and its professional and artistic expertise, and to familiarize themselves with the operational system in the news studios and the developments in the tools and technologies used for producing and presenting media content.

Sheikha Tamadur Al-Khalid noted that the rapid developments in the media industry necessitate the continuous enhancement of media tools and skills and the adoption of modern technologies to improve content quality and strengthen its ability to reach audiences in a professional and reliable manner.

She added that the visit holds particular importance given the role of audio-visual content as a primary tool for conveying media messages, pointing out the Ministry of Oil’s commitment to leveraging specialized national expertise and experiences to develop petroleum media tools and enhance the capabilities of its personnel.
