Al-Houila Inspects the Authority for Persons with Disabilities: Developing Digital Infrastructure and Enhancing E-Services

Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Hawaili, conducted an inspection visit to the headquarters of the General Authority for Persons with Disabilities in the Hawally Governorate. The visit was attended by the Authority’s Director General, Dr. Dalal Al-Othman, and sector deputies, and aimed to review operational progress and monitor the services provided to beneficiaries.

During the visit, Manal Al-Tawash was congratulated on her appointment as Director of the Information Systems Department. The Authority’s plans for digital transformation and the development of technical systems were also reviewed, with the goal of enhancing performance efficiency and improving service quality.

The Minister reviewed the new electronic services launched by the Authority through the “Sahel” app, comprising 10 services designed to facilitate transactions for persons with disabilities and save them time and effort.

The visit also included discussions on developing the digital infrastructure, elevating electronic services, and improving procedural efficiency, alongside monitoring various administrative and service-related aspects. The Minister emphasized the importance of continuing development and modernization efforts to meet the needs of persons with disabilities and enhance the quality of services provided to them.
