UAE Suspends Flights of Iranian Airlines to and from the Country Until Further Notice

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority announced the suspension of flights by Iranian airlines to and from the UAE, effective Thursday until further notice. In a statement, the Authority said the suspension decision was taken in light of the US sanctions prohibiting Iranian airlines from using airports in various countries. It reaffirmed its commitment to keeping relevant authorities and the public informed of any developments as they occur, until air travel between the two countries resumes normal operations, and urged the public to obtain information solely from official, authorized sources.
