Foreign Minister Discusses Strengthening Relations and Regional and International Developments with Singaporean and Kyrgyz Counterparts

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah held talks with his Singaporean counterpart, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, on ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two countries across various fields. The meeting took place on Wednesday evening at the headquarters of Kuwait’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The two sides also discussed the latest developments on the regional and international fronts.

In a separate engagement, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber discussed with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Jengbek Kulubayev, ways to strengthen and develop bilateral ties between Kuwait and Kyrgyzstan across various sectors. The meeting occurred on Wednesday evening on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York. The two sides also reviewed the latest regional and international developments.

In the same context, Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber held talks with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Donald Blome, on enhancing bilateral relations and strategic cooperation between Kuwait and the United States, and on developing such ties across various fields. The meeting took place on Tuesday evening when the Foreign Minister received the U.S. official at Kuwait’s Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The discussion also covered the latest regional and international developments.
