Envoy of His Highness the Crown Prince Discusses Bilateral Relations with Syrian President

Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received the President of the sister Arab Republic of Syria, Ahmad al-Sharaa, and his accompanying delegation, at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the UN General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad to the Syrian President, along with best wishes for his good health and for the Arab Republic of Syria and its brotherly people, hoping for continued peace, stability, and prosperity.

The meeting discussed the fraternal bilateral relations between Kuwait and the sister Arab Republic of Syria and ways to develop them in the interest of both countries and their brotherly peoples, as well as the most prominent developments on the regional and international fronts.

Attending the meeting were Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Major General Ahmad Al-Duaiji, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office, and Counsellor Abdullah Nasser Al-Obaidi, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Minister’s Affairs.
