Deputy Emir of Kuwait Holds Talks with Finnish President on Developing Bilateral Relations

New York, KUNA – The representative of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, who met with Alexander Stubb, President of the friendly Republic of Finland, and his accompanying delegation at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the UN General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, to President Alexander Stubb, along with best wishes for his good health and for the friendly Republic of Finland and its people, wishing them continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Finland, and ways to develop them in the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples, as well as addressing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jarrah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority Dr. Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, and Major General Ahmed Al-Duai, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
