Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince Receives Chief Operating Officer of Blackstone Global Investment Group

New York, KUNA – His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, received Jonathan Gray, President and Chief Executive Officer of the global investment firm Blackstone, along with his accompanying delegation, at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for joint investment cooperation between the State of Kuwait and the global Blackstone group, as well as global economic developments and investment opportunities. They also explored ways to create opportunities for investing in national human capital, thereby contributing to the development of their capabilities, honing their skills, and leveraging global expertise in investment fields.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; and Major General Ahmed Al-Duaiji, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
