His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, participated in a joint meeting hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, a friendly nation, with the participation of leaders and heads of delegations from several Arab and Islamic countries attending the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

During the meeting, the rapidly evolving developments and serious new developments in the region were discussed and reviewed, particularly the despicable Iranian aggressions against regional countries, the safety and freedom of maritime navigation, and global energy supplies, as well as the situation in the Gaza Strip.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of strategic partnership and close, continuous coordination with the United States of America to enhance regional and international security, support de-escalation efforts, and lay the foundations for comprehensive and just peace in the region.

In this regard, His Highness the Crown Prince, representing His Highness the Amir, met with several heads of state and government from various countries, holding discussions that covered bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and different countries, as well as ways to enhance joint cooperation across various fields. The meetings also included an exchange of views on the most prominent regional and international developments. Additionally, the most prominent issues and topics on the agenda of the General Assembly were discussed.

His Highness the Crown Prince also met with Larry Fink, Chief Executive Officer of BlackRock; David Solomon, Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs; and Scott Nuttall, Partner and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the investment firm KKR. During these meetings, shared economic and investment topics were reviewed and discussed, and the latest global developments in investment and financial markets were examined, along with ways to enhance cooperation between the parties. The importance of developing human resources and investing in national competencies through the exchange of expertise was also highlighted, as this enhances the competitiveness of the national economy and supports the achievement of sustainable development goals.

An agreement was reached to work toward establishing a strategic dialogue between the two friendly countries, co-chaired by the ministers of foreign affairs, to serve as a regular institutional framework for consultation and coordination, thereby elevating bilateral relations to broader horizons that serve the common interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.
