Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince Receives the Grand Duke of Luxembourg in New York

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, received His Royal Highness Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg and the accompanying delegation, on behalf of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The meeting took place at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, along with best wishes for his good health and well-being, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and its friendly people.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as ways to develop them in the interests of both countries and their friendly peoples. It also addressed the most prominent developments on the regional and international fronts.

Attending the meeting were Foreign Minister Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, and Major General Ahmed Al-Duaiji, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
