Talayech: "The Red" is ready

The coach of the Bahrain national team, Croatian Dragan Talajić, affirmed the readiness of “Al-Ahmar” (The Red) to compete in the 27th edition of the Gulf Cup of Nations (Gulf 27), emphasizing his confidence in his players’ ability to retain the title and their desire to replicate their performance from the previous edition.

Talajić said yesterday during the press conference preceding the match against the Qatar national team that he was pleased to be in Jeddah, which he described as “his lucky city.” He congratulated the Saudi people on National Day, wishing them continued honor and happiness, and expressed his hope to face the Saudi national team in the tournament final.

Regarding the match against Qatar, he stated that the Qatari national team is very strong and delivered an impressive performance at the World Cup. He added that the Bahraini national team is also strong and respects its opponent, but will strive to give its all to achieve a positive result.
