Al-Najat Charity and the Bar Association Place Debtors on the Path to the Labor Market

Al-Najaa Charity Association and the Kuwait Bar Association signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the fields of professional and legal training and qualification, as part of the national humanitarian and developmental initiative “Tamkeen.” The aim is to help beneficiaries restore their professional and economic stability and open new avenues for their integration into the labor market. The memorandum was signed by Dr. Jaber Al-Wanda, General Manager of Al-Najaa Charity Association, and Attorney Adnan Abla, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Bar Association, in the presence of Dr. Fahad Al-Nasser, Chief Executive Officer of the “KAMZ” Private Training Institute, which is affiliated with Al-Najaa Charity Association. The cooperation targets the provision of specialized training programs that combine theoretical qualification with practical application.

Al-Wanda affirmed that this partnership is an extension of the association’s orientation toward sustainable empowerment, moving beneficiaries from a stage of hardship and need to one of work, productivity, and self-reliance. He explained that “Tamkeen” is a national initiative targeting Kuwaiti debtors who have completed their prison sentences, seeking to support them upon their return to society through qualification, training, guidance, and vocational and economic empowerment.

For his part, Adnan Abla, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Bar Association, emphasized the importance of community partnerships in supporting Kuwaitis and preparing them to re-enter the labor market. He noted that the cooperation with Al-Najaa Charity Association represents a model of partnership between charitable and professional institutions, leveraging legal expertise to serve the community.
