Deputy Secretary-General of the General Security visits the Traffic Operations Building: Continue work, enhance readiness, and improve response speed

Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Munifi, visited the headquarters of the General Traffic Department’s Operations Directorate. He was received by Colonel Ayoub Ghazi Fath Allah, Assistant Director General of the General Traffic Department for Traffic Organization Affairs.

According to a statement issued by the General Traffic Department, the visit included an inspection tour of the Control and Operations Room, the Patrol Surveillance Camera Room, and the Security Supervision Directorate, to review the mechanisms for monitoring traffic flow, handling reports and accidents, and detecting violations and infractions.

The visit also featured a presentation on the workforce, as well as field and administrative tasks and efforts, and an assessment of readiness levels and human and technical capabilities.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs commended the efforts made in organizing and monitoring traffic flow, emphasizing the importance of continuing work, enhancing readiness levels, and improving response times.

In a separate development, Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Munifi held a meeting with the heads of patrol sections in the field directorates under the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Security Directorates Sector to discuss mechanisms for improving security operations and enhancing readiness levels.

He urged them to exert greater efforts, maintain full vigilance, respond immediately to various reports and security incidents, and take the necessary measures promptly.

He also underscored the importance of serving citizens and residents, and strengthening cooperation and coordination between patrols and police stations to help maintain security and ensure swift handling of various situations.
