Video: Traffic patrol officers save a family's lives by quickly responding to their vehicle rollover on the road

The General Traffic Department stated that in a rapid response to a vehicle rollover accident, traffic patrols promptly attended to the incident. Their swift arrival and immediate intervention contributed to saving the lives of a family trapped inside the overturned vehicle. The Department added that traffic officers, demonstrating quick thinking and immediate on-site responsiveness, also worked to stabilize the overturned vehicle, reposition it, and remove it from the roadway, particularly as the accident occurred during the morning peak hour, which is characterized by high traffic density.

In a press statement, the Traffic Department noted that these actions are part of the continuous field efforts undertaken by the Traffic Affairs and Operations Sector, as well as the ongoing role of General Traffic Department patrols in fulfilling their humanitarian, security, and traffic management duties. This includes responding rapidly to accidents and handling them with high efficiency to protect lives and property and ensure the smooth flow of traffic on the roads.

The Department added that the swift handling of the incident and the restoration of normal traffic flow helped limit the spread of congestion and traffic bottlenecks, ensuring the continued smoothness of traffic on the road. It emphasized that this rapid response reflects the vital role played by General Traffic Department officers in managing various accidents and emergency situations, highlighting their vigilance, field readiness, and consistent commitment to protecting lives and handling reports with full responsibility and attention.

The statement further explained that in recognition of these outstanding efforts, Colonel Ayoub Ghazi Fath Allah, Assistant Director General of the General Traffic Department for Traffic Organization Affairs, commended the officers involved.
