Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince receives the Lebanese Prime Minister in New York

Representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, received the Prime Minister of the sister Lebanese Republic, Dr. Nawaf Salam, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the Permanent Mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the fraternal bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the sister Lebanese Republic and ways to develop them in service of the interests of both countries and their fraternal peoples were discussed. In addition, the most prominent developments on the regional and international scenes were examined.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jerah Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Tariq Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations; and Lieutenant General Ahmed Al-Dai, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince.
