The Amir's Representative discussed with the Secretary-General of the Arab League the enhancement of cooperation and coordination of positions on various issues at international forums

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, received the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Fahmy, and his accompanying delegation, on behalf of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at the permanent mission of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations in New York City.

At the outset of the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, and extended his best wishes for success and progress in strengthening the trajectory of joint Arab action.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance Arab solidarity and cooperation, coordinate positions on Arab issues at international forums, and review the latest developments and updates on both the regional and international scenes.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jara Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Al-Jaber, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi; Ambassador Sadiq Ma’arfi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for International Organizations Affairs; Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; and Counselor Abdullah Nasser Al-Obaidi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Minister’s Office Affairs.
