Representative of His Highness Receives Egyptian Prime Minister in New York

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, received on Tuesday evening Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Cabinet of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the accompanying delegation, on behalf of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The meeting took place at the Kuwait Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York City, on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to his brother, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, along with best wishes for robust health and well-being, and for the fraternal Arab Republic of Egypt and its people, continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting reviewed the deep-rooted historical fraternal relations between Kuwait and the Arab Republic of Egypt, characterized by close cooperation and continuous coordination. The parties discussed ways to support, enhance, and elevate these relations to broader horizons across various fields, in a manner that serves the common interests of the two countries and their fraternal peoples.

The two sides exchanged views on the key issues and topics on the agenda of the United Nations General Assembly, as well as discussing the latest developments on the regional and international scenes, and reaffirming the importance of continuing coordination and consultation regarding them.

Attending the meeting were Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah; Ambassador Mansour Ayad Al-Otaibi, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; and Counselor Abdullah Nasser Al-Obeidi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Ministerial Office Affairs.
