Trump: We have ended Iran's ability to acquire a nuclear weapon... and its leaders should seize the opportunity before it's too late

US President Donald Trump affirmed that the Iranian economy is in a very poor state and that its leaders must seize the opportunity before it is too late.

During a meeting with several Arab leaders attending the United Nations General Assembly, Trump added, “We have ended Iran’s ability to acquire a nuclear weapon.” The US President stated, “We have completely isolated Iran economically,” while also expressing his belief that “we will strike a deal with Iran, and I expect it to be resolved very quickly after the US midterm elections.”

Trump said, “We may strike the area of the axe head if we detect activities there.” He confirmed that more oil is flowing through the Strait of Hormuz, the highest volume since the start of the conflict, adding that the US Navy has cleared mines from the strait.

Trump stated, “We have the strongest military to end the Iranian threat, and ending Iran’s nuclear threat has nothing to do with the elections.” He continued, “We will work to create a brilliant future for the Middle East region.”
