The Amir's Representative met with the Canadian Prime Minister to discuss bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments.

A representative of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of Kuwait, and Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, during the opening session of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting reviewed the close relations between Kuwait and Canada and discussed ways to enhance and develop these ties across various fields.

The two sides also agreed to work toward establishing a strategic dialogue between the two friendly countries, to be chaired by their respective foreign ministers. This dialogue is intended to serve as a structured and regular framework for consultation and coordination, contributing to elevating bilateral relations to broader horizons that serve the shared interests of both nations and their friendly peoples.

The meeting also addressed key issues on the agenda of the General Assembly and discussed the latest developments and trends in the regional and international arenas.
