"Affairs of Persons with Disabilities" organizes "Welcome Back to School" event at South Al-Salimiyah Complex

Under the patronage of Dr. Dalal Al-Othman, Director General of the General Authority for Persons with Disabilities, the South Al-Salabiya Complex organized the “Welcome Back to School” event in conjunction with the start of the new academic year. This initiative reflects the Authority’s commitment to supporting students with disabilities and preparing them for a return to the educational environment.

The event witnessed extensive participation from students and staff members of the complex. It featured a variety of recreational and awareness-raising activities aimed at boosting enthusiasm and readiness for the academic year, alongside a showcase of handmade and artistic works created by students with disabilities, highlighting their exceptional talents and capabilities.

The Authority emphasized that such events contribute to providing a supportive and motivating environment for students, while enhancing their integration and active participation in various educational and social activities.

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Dalal Al-Othman delivered an encouraging address to the students, urging them to persevere, work diligently, and achieve success. She also honored the participants in recognition of their creativity and efforts in making the event a success.
