Six Asians to be deported after being caught in a gambling apartment

Six Asian nationals were referred to the Deportation Department after being caught inside an apartment in the Mahbula district that was being used to operate an illegal gambling den. According to a security source who spoke to Al-Anba newspaper, the apartment, where the Asian nationals were engaged in legally prohibited gambling, was raided following information received by Criminal Investigation officers that an Asian national was managing an apartment in Mahbula for gambling activities, which occurred weekly on weekends.

The source added that, upon receiving this information, Criminal Investigation officers conducted the necessary searches and investigations, confirmed the veracity of the information, and monitored the apartment.

He continued: The apartment was raided, and officers found the Asian national managing it along with five other Asian nationals in the act of gambling.

The source clarified that 160 Kuwaiti dinars were found in the possession of the suspects, which they were using for gambling. During interrogation, they admitted to gathering weekly to engage in gambling. They were subsequently referred to the Deportation Department to facilitate the necessary legal proceedings against them and their deportation from the country as a penalty for the crime they committed.
