Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince meets Lithuanian President in New York

Representing His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, met with President Gitanas Nausėda of the friendly Republic of Lithuania and his accompanying delegation at the United Nations headquarters in New York, on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, to President Nausėda, wishing him good health and further development and prosperity for the Republic of Lithuania and its friendly people.

The meeting included a review of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and a discussion of prospects for cooperation in various fields of mutual interest, as well as the latest regional and international developments.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi; and Ambassador Tariq Al-Bunai, the Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.
