Trump: Russian and Ukrainian presidents want to end the war

US President Donald Trump affirmed that his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy both want to end the war. Speaking at a joint press conference with Zelenskyy, Trump added that strikes on energy facilities inside Russia constitute a severe blow to the Russians and to diesel prices. He emphasized that he would work with the Ukrainian president to find a solution to end the war. The US President stated that Iran faces two options, one of which is extremely bad, and that it is in Iran’s interest to reach an agreement. He confirmed that a US official held a three-hour meeting with an Iranian delegation, which he described as positive.
