Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince meets the President of the Republic of Latvia in New York

His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid, the Crown Prince and Representative of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, met with His Excellency Edgars Rinkevics, President of the friendly Republic of Latvia, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting took place at the United Nations headquarters in New York City on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

At the outset of the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, to President Rinkevics, wishing him good health and wishing the Republic of Latvia and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity.

The meeting included discussions on the bilateral relations between the State of Kuwait and the friendly Republic of Latvia, ways to enhance mutual cooperation in various fields, and an exchange of views on the most prominent regional and international developments.

Attending the meeting were Sheikh Jeraf Al-Jaber, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi; and Ambassador Tariq Al-Bunai, Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations.
