"Applied" University student delegation concludes educational trip to China to enhance their expertise in technology and innovation

A delegation of students from the General Authority for Applied Education and Training concluded its educational trip to China, which included the cities of Shenzhen and Shanghai, with the aim of examining advanced models in applied and technical education and enhancing their expertise in technology and innovation.

In a press release, the Authority stated that the delegation comprised eight students accompanied by two members of the teaching staff. The program included visits to Shenzhen University of Applied Science and Technology and Shanghai University of Engineering Science to familiarize themselves with their academic and practical experiences, as well as tours of laboratories and technical facilities to explore the latest technologies and applications in education, training, scientific research, and innovation.

The Authority added that the program featured a series of meetings and scientific tours that enabled the students to interact directly with the Chinese academic environment and learn about the Chinese experience in leveraging applied and technical education to meet the needs of industry and the labor market. It also provided insights into aspects of Chinese culture and society, contributing to broadening their horizons and developing their scientific and personal competencies.

The Authority clarified that this trip is part of its strategy to strengthen international cooperation and enrich the educational experience of its students by providing direct exposure to advanced global practices and benefiting from modern approaches in applied and technical education, thereby supporting the development of a qualified national workforce equipped with relevant knowledge.
