Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques: We Appreciate the Role of Military and Security Sectors in Defending the Homeland and Repelling Any Attack on Holy Sites

His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, chaired a meeting of the Cabinet, expressing gratitude and thanks to Almighty Allah for bestowing upon the Kingdom “great blessings and honoring it with the service of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, peace and blessings be upon him, and of their visitors, including pilgrims, Umrah performers, and tourists.” Looking ahead as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates its National Day, he expressed hope for further achievements and successes in the nation’s journey of growth, progress, and leadership across all fields.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed appreciation for the role of the military and security sectors and their valiant heroes in defending the homeland and firmly repelling any aggression against the holy sites, guests of Allah, citizens, and residents on Saudi soil. In this context, he condemned the attempt by the Houthi terrorist militia to repeat its targeting of Makkah al-Mukarramah, which had drawn international condemnation and censure, noting that such a heinous crime, which violates the sanctity of holy places, constitutes an affront to the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.
