Representative of His Highness the Crown Prince receives delegation from US Chamber of Commerce and Kuwait-US Business Council

His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, received a delegation from representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce and the Kuwait-American Business Council, including Koushik Choksi, First Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey, and Central Asia at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Steve Lutes, First Vice President for International Member Engagement at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; Lydia Jobs, Chief Executive Officer of the Kuwait-American Business Council at the Chamber; Donna Milford, Executive Vice President at State Street, serving as Chair of the Kuwait-American Business Council; and Jenny Johnson, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Franklin Templeton Investments. The meeting took place at the Kuwait Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York on the sidelines of the high-level week of the eighty-first session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, His Highness the Crown Prince emphasized the importance of the role played by members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Kuwait-American Business Council in supporting and strengthening economic, trade, and investment ties between Kuwait and the friendly United States of America. The discussions focused on ways to consolidate economic, trade, and investment relations between Kuwait and the United States, as well as reviewing investment opportunities in Kuwait for leading U.S. companies and institutions across various vital sectors.

Also present at the meeting were Sheikh Dr. Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority; Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi; Sheikhah Al-Janah Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Ambassador to the United States; Ambassador Tariq Al-Banna, Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations; and Major General Ahmed Al-Duwaikh, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office.
