Trump: We will reinstate any ruling requiring the White House to reinstate media outlets that were barred from entering
US President Donald Trump said his administration would appeal any court ruling that might reinstate media organizations’ access to the White House. Trump said, in a post on his Truth Social platform as expected, that “fake news” channels such as CNN and Politico (the $8 million the US government provided to keep them afloat must be repaid!) and MSNBC (formerly known as MSNBC!) filed a lawsuit for access to the White House, and to your president, me! They have chosen for themselves a great judge, a man who ruled in favor of Jim Acosta, who seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth. The judge’s name is Tim Kelly, and he was, unfortunately, appointed by “Trump.”
He added, “In other words, and almost certainly, as usual, we will appeal the ruling because the owners of fake news and publications that write only negatively, which violate our national security by spreading false and defamatory stories from anonymous sources, should not be allowed access to the most important office in the world. It is the Oval Office, and it must be treated with respect and dignity, not defiled by third-rate clowns who distort, twist, and demean the facts in everything they write or publish. Almost every story published about me, or anything related to me, is negative and wrong, and often dangerous to our country! No matter how great my achievements, they downplay and demean them.”
He continued, “The truth is that I won all seven swing states, received a majority of the popular vote, and won the Electoral College (312 to 226), and I won in all US counties by 86%, yet it is said that I receive 94% negative coverage. With such corrupt and misleading press, how did I win such a landslide? The reason is that the media lack credibility, and this is very bad for our nation.
Why should I give these people a ‘chance’ to access my information? Perhaps Judge Kelly can clarify that! In any case, it is my duty to fight for the success and security of our country. Fake news threatens democracy, and I will do whatever it takes to ensure the prosperity of the United States of America.”
